4g94 dies out after throttle
4g94 dies out after throttle
I have a ralliart '06 but just came to find out that where I come from they sell it with a 4g94 engine. The ralli guys on the other forums advice me to ask for help here since we have the same engine.
My problem is the carbon I bought is second hand and always find it to drive heavy and use up fuel like crazy. When I check under the hood the maf sensor plug was off so I place it back in and find my car struggling to stay alive. I just changed the maf with a second hand sensor that I salvaged from a scrap yard. Car starts put fine but when I throttle it hard it dies out on me straight. I checked the DTC and I was only getting a bps code 25. Gave it a good clean and no codes now but car still dies out when I checked the dtc I get an ignition coil 1. I replace them with something I got of eBay but dunno if it's the right ones for my engine but with it plugged in the car suffers to start... sometimes it does and sometimes it won't. I've posted another question here about it to see the part numbers for the ignition coils. But if you guys can help me out on why the engine dues out I'd be blessed. Been at it for weeks.
P.s. Is there any possibility that it could be the plug harness for the maf?
