Need help identifying.

Need help identifying.

Hi all,

So I just bought a really clean 03 ES.
There was a heavy round tube hanging from the front underside from the core support. It was attached with some type of rubber to a mount bolted to the core support. Looks like there were 2 of them but one is already gone.
Can anyone tell me what these are and what they do?
I don't even know the name for them.

Sorry, I can't post a pic. But if you look at the 18th and 19th pics on this thread, you will see two cylindrical objects bolted to the radiator core support.

Im pretty sure you're talking about the 2 rubber cylinder in the radiator frame region? I think those are there to reduce vibrations from the engine. I removed mine on my old lancer and i didn't notice any difference.
