Hood spacer install

I have a 2010 Lancer DE and id like to add some hood spacers hoping it will help with removing the hot air from the engine bay. After removing the nuts i saw that the screws come direct from my hood and dont know if the come off and if so how?

those studs do not come off. try putting spacers under the hinges where they mount on the fender. Also be careful when you first close the hood with the spacers installed. You could bend something. You're probably not going to notice any temp differene.

If you're having overheating problems, this probably won't fix it
