Is it possible to replace the plastic airbag cover on a '09 Lancer?

Is it possible to replace the plastic airbag cover on a '09 Lancer?
The plastic steering wheel cover has become damaged (it cracked) and I bought this replacement on eBay. If I remove the airbag module completely, is it possible to remove the airbag module itself from the plastic cover and install the replacement one?
Here is what the removed module looks like. Those look like proprietary bolts.
