About a year ago some guy spilled soda on the stereo of my 2009 Lancer and the buttons on it stopped working completely. I can still do stuff like turning it on and off, switching between radio and cd, skip tracks, change volume, etc with the buttons on the steering wheel and the display on the stereo still works but I would like to know if there is anything I can try to fix the buttons on it. I have removed the stereo, taken it apart and it looks like there isn't any corrosion but cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol didn’t work. In case there isn’t a solution to fix it, I would appreciate recommendations for aftermarket parts or alternative stereos.
