Hi everyone!!

I’m looking to upgrade my steering wheel to a newer one, possibly 2013-2014?

I currently have cruise control on the right side, and as fas as I know you can buy the panel for the left side for the volume controls; but i’m really looking to get all of the controls that come with the newer model steering wheels ( the call controls etc)

does anyone know if the steering wheel will fit properly ? and if my car will have the wiring prefitted or if my dreams of steering wheel controls are too far fetched lol

I've toyed with the idea of changing my DE steering (it has no controls) to an ES Steering. I've been researching DIY stereos on Crutchfield.com. There's a part called the Interface Module. According to their site, the module will need to be loaded with correct firmware before installation. Perhaps it's just a matter of what firmware is installed. This just an educated guess on my part.. Maybe a car audio shop could help with information on that. Let us know if you end up with the upgrade.
