Yep I checked them but the engine's heat must have burned through the thin wires. I was using the same fuse that came with the kit but when the wires burned I just re-wired the lights to my parker bulb. Now I just need to put the wires through the firewall.
What hole did you put it through? And how many holes are there in the firewall to choose from?

I used the one behind the glove box. I think there's another behind your pedals...
This pics is from a few years ago... It's been cleaned up a bit since then...

Oh I see...
Does any heat get through to the glove box or the passengers feet?

Mine isn't connected to the battery anymore. I have them connected to my parker buld. It's more convenient for me that way

I tried to do it a couple of days ago but I couldn't find a spot on the firewall. So I guess I'm gonna just leave it the way it is.

The kit actually comes with the fuse/wire combo. But if you're looking for just the combo by itself check at a local hardware store. Lowes, Menards, Home Depot, or Ace Hardware.

I used the hole where the cable for the hood release goes thought the firewall on the driver side. Works well I have multiple wires going through there for power to my interior and under body neon's.

Or you can just do what I did and take a multimeter and poke around the dimmer switch until you find power. It's all 12 volts, so I just cut the control box off of the lighting kit and wired it up to the power source on my dimmer switch. So now, my lights only come on when I turn my driving lights, or headlights on. On top of that, I also installed a push-button switch in the case that I don't want them turned on at all.

There's all types of ways of doing it. Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents.

Yea I just re-wired them to my headlight wiring, so when I turn on my headlights I have the option to turn them on. A lot easier than having wires coming out of your battery.
