How do I remove these screw from the filter box
So I am sitting in my garage with almost all of my OEM Air Filter off except for the other half of the air filter box. There are 4 weird shape screws with bolts on them, however I do not know how to get them off. I took a picture of it so maybe it might help so you can actually see what I am talking about.
They are DAMN nasty. I have decided not to continue with my home made intake simply b/c the only way I have found out to remove these screws is to cut out the rest of my filter box. Which if I then wanted to turn around and install the OEM intake to sell the car, would be impossible. So until I get some money to get an RRM SRI, no installation. Or I might just save my money and get a newer car.
WTF? Nasty? Why?
Flip the thing over and tada.... get the nuts off and you're done.
Cant get the nuts off without breaking the plastic? Take some vise-grip to hold the bolt from inside the box, while you have your wrench on the nut on the other side.
