Didn't realize people are actually doing this. Some more info I have uncovered over the last few years.

The rockford system has two versions:2008-2013 and 2014-2017. They are wired differently and are not interchangeable. The components you get need to match up to the car year you have. Only the speakers and sub are interchangeable.

For those who bought the oem touchscreens from partsbrokerllc on ebay, I wrote up the wiring conversion instructions he uses. If you have a 2008-2013 with the 2014+ touchscreen, make sure to use a 2014+ amp and wiring harness, or you will be sorry. I don't have the wiring harness part numbers for 2014+.

In answer to Kemar, the amps wire directly to the factory head units. Aftermarket requires an interface to work with the amps. Make sure to match the interface to the model year car the amp came out of.

Thanks for your reply Wizzbangca. Im still looking for a floor harness. I got a dash harness and I just wanted to know if you had to take out the entire dash to swap the harness or is there another way to do it which entails leaving the dash in lol........i hope
