Lancer Left engine mount

I'm trying to remove the left engine mount on a 2004 Lancer ( see photo ). I have the 4 bolts removed plus the center bolt. My issue is I have very little clearance to remove the left engine mount. In fact, I could pull up on the mount but I'm unable to clear the 4 bolts ( a few inches+ short) used to host the mount. Is it necessary to loosen the mount on the right or ... ?

I am guessing you are automatic, I am manual but I think its probably similar... I have taken the tranny out 5 times and put it back in just as many, the only way to get that mount out is to lower the entire transmission assembly which requires the engine to lower as well...to get that mount out you will most likely have to remove both the the centerframe and front roll stopper (front mount). and then the rear mount slide pin bolt. Use a floor jack and a piece of wood to support the transmission, this will support both the tranny and the engine, lower it down little by little til you can get it out

where you at in FL btw?

No it's a manual transmission. I'm in Orlando. I've changed two out of 4 mounts thus far and I'm left with the rear roll stop and the left engine mount. I'm inclined to punt on the real roll stop because one of the bolts is incredibly difficult to get at and it's starting to strip, so I may end up leaving the rear roll stop to the dealer. That aside, I didn't realize I had to lower the transmission to remove the left engine mount. Makes sense now given it's a clearance issue and I'm missing maybe 3 or 4 inches to be able to yank out the mount. The link below is what I relied on and the instructions made no mention of lowering the transmission which is very misleading..... crud!!

I didn't have too much issue removing the rear roll stopper, maybe try getting it at a different angle or getting offset wrenches or something, I have a set and come in handy often. Pretty sure the only way to remove the rear stopper completely is to unbolt the mount bracket that attaches to the transmission with 3 17mm bolts.

Haha I will be in Orlando tomorrow night for a show.
