02 Lancer - Dead slave cylinder!!
02 Lancer - Dead slave cylinder!!
PLEASE HELP ME!!
My slave cylinder went out about a month and a half ago.. Been rev matching since then. Pretty sure it's the slave because I've bleed it on 5 separate occasions and got it to work for about a hour if I kept pulling over and adding brake fluid.. And there is no leaks that I can see at all..
So I have the new slave. But I'm broke. I can not afford this transmission labor on my car at a shop. I'm going to do it my self. I'm not a pro but I know my way around. My brother is going to help me and he was in the army for a few years as a diesel mechanic so he should be a lot of help.
What do we have to do? What is the easiest way to do this? I have searched an searched and found nothing..
What do we have to take off to get it down? Can somebody please help me! I need my car back!!! Could someone possibly give me a write up on what needs to be taken off.. where it located and the difficulty and if there's any tricks too it. like everything I have to remove. tips on the cv joints. do I have to do both cv joints?
We want to start it and finish it too all at once.. I did see a lot of people say they could do it in about 4 - 6 hours so..Please help me.. I need my car fixed so bad.. So bad..
