I'll have to check this out. I'm just now boosting and I'm sure my clutch will start to go when I get a finer tune.

Yeah man. You doing anything with your differential? I was thinking about doing a lsd insert (Phantom grip?). One of the lancer guys did one but hasn't reported on long term use. A regular lsd is out of my price range. the only drawback I see is getting metal shavings, which is probably bad. Lol

I sold my backup "phantom grip" LSD conversion to bakuro...My Quaife LSD has been hopping from transmission to transmission, still holding strong even if the tranny doesn't

If you're looking for a conversion, RTM Racing can make them...they don't list them on their website, but they need only to modify the DSM ones slightly to fit a lancer diff...https://www.rtmracing.com/xcart/prod...d=16815&page=1

Nice!!!! Yeah I might go with a insert. Nice to know there's another source for inserts. I'll look into it a bit more when I need to install my clutch.

Cranswick,

With a insert or a full lsd do you need to change your fluid more frequently? Or do the fluid changes stay the same? Also what fluid are you running?

under normal driving conditions, manual transmission fluid should last a long time...now I change fluid more often, because I'm always breaking transmission parts, but I only go with Redline MTL, I've tried all the others, and Redline seems to perform the best...usually every spring I do it, and when it comes out the next year it's pretty clean, unless I had a breakage...
