bad sound rattle need help

bad sound rattle need help

k so i got 2 12" jbl's and a little bit of bass causes a bad rattle against the back window from the back of the seat carpet stuff as shown here...
(NOT MY CAR) example only


looking for advice of what to do to prevent it from rattling against window. dont say dyna mat cause i dont want to use it, just looking for other possible ways of stopping it. anything cheap diy ideas????

dont think it will work. i was looking at peel + stick roofing membrane but it doesnt feel that sticky. dont think it will hold a stick to the metal in the trunk. any other suggestions guys or anyone who has used roofing membrane??????

I just stuck carpet pad in mine. Just enough that it tucks down so you can't see it. Hasn't rattled since.

You could try some self-adhesive foam pipe insulation. It comes in rolls and is pretty cheap.

sound deadener is for killing ringing and lowering resonance, not bracing rattling parts common misconception.

Try some weatherstripping, carpet padding, or other foam.
