Here's the plain truth, audio is one of my "things"

There is no definite advantage between boxes that is universal...Every sub has it's own frequencies and needs a box that is "tuned" for that sub, ESPECIALLY if it is ported...Bandpass is not necessarily better. I have a custom tuned kicker box from the factory, not available off the shelf that I have my 12 L5...That box I would be anything will match any $100+ ProBox, or BandPass box...I've also used multiple sealed boxes, and if built with the proper dimensions, will hit the lows just as great as the ported.

My preference is sealed if done as best quality, that way i don't have that airy sound that comes from the port...
