Just sharing.

Just figured I would share that my Sound Solutions Audio XCON 15 is finally in the car and destroying everything in the car. I will post pics and some excursion vids once the whole install is final and I am done working with it. Lets just say that there are places on our cars that should have came with some bracing from the factory that I didn't know could vibrate and flex. Alot of work to do to correct these issues.

Its actually insane really and it sucks that a video camera can't actually catch what is vibrating. Here I come Iasca or Meca, or both, well once Im not so rattley.

It will help to a point, there is a point where the car's resonate frequency is just going to be more than dynomat, or fatmat, or any deadener can handle. I haven't peaked yet but I am guessing its right around 42 HZ for our cars, need a meter to tell for sure and not by ear.

dynamat will help the rattling in some areas, but its wayyy expensive. there are better alternatives out there. my friend competes in pro-sound competitions and he recommends second skin, i tried it in my doors and it works great.

if you cant use the sound deadening material, then felt works great between plastic parts and such. good luckkk!
