I had both of them and let me tell you the alpine mono amp is much better than the kickers. I was happy with the kicker amp cuz I had a no name (interfire) brand sub in my old car and I was blaming the sub for the sound not being as tight. It took forever even with the top of the line pioneer head unit it took forever to set and wasn't great even after I set it to my best liking.

But today I got my alpine amp and wow.... I used to be in love with all the kicker products but alpine is just another level. Even with my interfire sub the sound was a lot better and it was tighter.

I usually don't do reviews but since I couldn't find a decent comparison between the 2 I was having trouble deciding on one. So there's the verdict. If you're in the same shoe as I was then go with the alpine mrp-m500.
