Help with Aftermarket Radio Install

I tried installing the Pioneer MVH-X560BT Radio and everything seemed like it was going well.
I used butt connectors to crimp the wires from the wiring harness with together and once I installed everything the power worked fine ...
but there was no sound. There a connection I did not use and I've provided pictures for clarity. (it is the one in my hand i forgot to plug in the antenna but it still didn't work after I plugged it it.)

Also another note, there looks like something resembling a lock on the side of the display (which I have provided a picture for as well).

If anyone has any ideas what i could be please do share!

I've also attached pictures of the back of the troublesome unit.

Thanks in advance

Where do you connect the blue wire with the adapter to? And the harness I puchased has about 12 connections so which I connected but yours has three, could that be the problem?

blue is normally remote...there should be one pretty much the same colour coming out of the head unit, could also be blue and white. that funky looking connector that looks like a big s-video connector, that's a DIN cable, and I don't see a cd changer. one of those pins turns the amp on and also provides stereo audio output to the amplifier. I don't know what the other two lines are for.

edit: the wiring diagrams doesn't show a drawing of the DIN cable and its connectors. it might be they are separate input channels

looks like you got the wrong wiring harness for your stereo, you need the one that connects to that connector and has 4 rca jacks for your stock amp

When I bought a new stereo and put it in my car I'm pretty sure there were like 3 harnesses. One with lots of wires that needed crimping, one to connect to the stock amp/sub and one that connected to the RCA inputs.

yes, that's the power harness, and the round black connector is the DIN adapter for the audio input to the amp, and the blue pigtail is the remote wire to turn the amp on.
