Fast key help

Hi i belive it is my fast key but I just drove my 09 Ralliart to school and I went to lock it and im really confused the red light lights up when i push the button on the fast key but it instantly locks then unlocks. the car will also not start and no matter what the car wont lock. even if I manually go around and lock all the doors when I lock the last one they all unlock then I dont get it should I try using the emergency key does anyone know whats wrong any help would be apreciated. P.s. I also installed a remote start to and that doesnt lock the car either

I am quite sure it is the remote start - especially if the problem started right after install...

I assume it is not factory remote start...

sounds like someone has a chipped key, and didn't install the bypass for it when they did the remote start install. Our cars have an immobilizer and without the bypass for the immobilizer you will have those issues. Here is a link to an immobilizer bypass for you
