AEM bypass does not work with our Version 2 because it is one piece design.

The new intake is a one piece and would have to be cut to put a bypass in. I love mine but I don't go into deep standing puddles with it. Regardless, I really like the performance and sound in makes. You can really hear it pulling air into it.

As long as you do not submerge intake you are fine.

Do you think if it is pouring rain and your ralliart is outside on the curb, and the street is filled with water will do anything to the intake? or maybe hydrolock because of it?

With my smart mind im thinking it wouldn't since no air is being sucked in, but I'm not that smart.

The key here is if it is submerged it can hydrolock. If really worried our short ram does very well and will work with both automatic and 5 speed.

Where can you get a AEM Bypass? Where do you attach the bypass?

Intake alone never sets off CEL. Look at other stuff. Reset ECu by disconnecting battery cable (neg) for a few minutes. See if it comes back.

Hey Rock, I'm trying to put together a non-turbo, under $1500, 04 Hemi truck stomping project. The only way to get pwr2weight close is with N2O (yeah, yeah guys, car go boom, maybe it was the motec exhaust...) a 75 wet shot to be exact. My questions are:

1. Could RRM port a CAI for a N2o bung, and how much extra would it be?
2. Would/could RRM flash a piggyback system to work with N2O (i.e. retard the spark where needed to prevent detonation) and then how much to return it to "normal" again.
3. Have you guys looked into making adsapter brackets for the weapon R engine damper/ designing one of your own(damper) for the RA?

I don't plan on running high 13's every day, I just need to stomp my furry little friend into the ground 1 last time to remind him I can beat him in any car, hemi or not. Not that I have a problem with Hemi's, just getting beaten by him. I'm asking before I buy so I don't have to ship it back and forth 2 times. Just let me know, I'll buy the CAI either way, I just figured you guys would probably do a nicer job of it.

Thanks,

AMG

We would need the exact bung you are using then we could weld it in place. Figure $60 to do it. But you could prolly get it done easier. PRobelm is we have all our intakes powder coated right now. Just buy one, drill hole and have someone weld bung in. After that just red spray paint the spot. It will look fine. AS for Piggy program for you special needs I would have to say no. We don't have the setup for that to test and tune to your particular application.

I'm sorry to hear that. But hey, at least you're honest about it! Any thoughts on the engine damper tho? It would be a hell of alot easier for most people than the engine mounts. I know the solid mounts would be better but I'm just a weekend warrior kind of guy. Most of the kids around here are asleep before I get off work at midnight, plus the whole .10 O'clock squad is out untill 3-4 am out here in Missery. Well that and street racing is bad. Verry bad m'kay?
I'll still be ordering the CAI, do you think it would be a good idea to combine N2O and your Piggyback ECU or would that really be a MIVEC go boom situation?

Thanks again Rock
