I will say it again, Mivec want to breathe. Intake, downpipe and exhaust make a big difference on this engine. Not sure about 1/4 times but expect to notice a difference.

Woot, ordered mine today. *cheers* Anything I should know in advance about installing it in my 2004 RalliArt automatic? Any little problems come up or tips maybe from someone that installed one themselves?
Thanks again. I cant wait to get it. My MagnaFlow tip just got here today too!

Factory Warranty
Does this do anything against the factory warranty? I know it is such a small part but I can just see the service dept saying something went wrong because I have a K&N filter on the car. This is my first brand new car.
Also does this intake make the bottom end speed decrease but increases the top end? I hate being slow at the light

It really is the best balanced intake. Short Rams ususally are. As for warranty, it should not void anything. Mitsu dealers buy direct from us. I guess that is the best proof that it does not void warranty!

Rock, tell me more about the warranty! Please!!!
WEll, looking out for a ralliart at a mitsu dealer, and like they said, any modification to the engine or tranny will void the warranty. But like you mentioned, Mitsu dealers buy direct from RRM? That just brought my hopes up, but im not sure if it definitely will, please inform me more. thx ROCKO

I cannot speak for individual dealers. Simply put, intake is like exhaust, it would be very hard for a dealer to void warranty for either. Regardless I bet there is a dealer out there that would try. Just reinstall stock stuff if you need to take the car into dealer for engine related service.

I talked to my dealer here in TampaBay, Fl. The guy my age who drives a modded Civic told me not to do it at this dealership. Because anything that might be related to it would not get fix under warranty. I guess there where you are it is different.
If I get it I would have to take it out whenever I take it to the dealer. That seems like too much work. The Honda dealerships around here lets you do it though. The only cars you can mod he said were the EVOs

Figure 25 h.p acorrding to our dynos. That is pretty dam good. Down pipe is makes it even better. As for dealer issues, again some dealers buy them from us so it just depends. But to be safe remove it. Time is minimal. How lond doe it take to remove one bolt and one hose clamp? Not long right. Easy swap.....
