Question CF question (how much?)

I was gonna get the RRM C/F taillights for my silver Lancer OZ and was thinking about painting the badges black to go along with it. Then I started thinking a C/F wing (the OEM style) would blend well with it, then blacking out door handles, and maybe a C/F hood. Oh yeah, I wanted to get C/F eyelids as well. My question is: How much is too much, in your opinion? Vote for your suggested level of mods in the poll and please give me your personal opinion as well.

Thanks

Daniel

Depends on how you do it. I've seen people with just a carbon fiber hood that just didn't fit the car. On dark cars I think CF looks good. On a silver car it could look good, just don't go massively over board and get like CF door handles or like CF hub caps or some crazy crap like that.

dont get the cf tails since they arent even rael cf. dont black out teh handles bc that would jsut make it look like the cheper ES. get cf reflectors too, dont forget about them. cff hood looks great ona silver lancer.

I'm not too worried about the tails not being cf, it's more for the color contrast and they're no more expensive than the others lol. Hey Mike, long time no talk.

LOL hood's a little expensive, but I've always wanted one. Wasn't sure if I should go with the OEM style or evo style... I see lots of evo styles, but not too many OEMs.

if you are planning on going turbo, then id get the vetnted one. f you are staying NA, then get the oem, i think it looks cleaner. you can get blacked out tails of the same style, think the contrast looks better bc its fully black and not checkered cf-look.

you and flyboy should drive down soemtime.

I had no idea they had a straight black of these style... only the (IMO) ugly TYC lights. Does anyone have a link?

If I could find the time and money to get down to G-ville, I'd come and see what a turbo Lancer is like.

here are pics of them: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33716

if you come down in a couple months, then you can ride in one of the fastest USDM lancers.

LOL I was expecting that sooner or later adam.

I just splurged some money and bought those lights off ebay... They were so beautiful lol. Thanks for the link, Mike. You're a lifesaver, so to speak.

OK, next project (and maybe a how-to) on Krylon-ing badges!

lol
