it does seem a little high, but shaving door handles takes a lot of time and effort.

shaving is the easy part...you can get that done for like 50 a handle....poppers you can get for 150 for both front..i dont see why you would need all four...and paint is the hardest part in my opinion

depends on how well they do it and how many times they've done it.

I've seen some horribly shaved doors where even after painting it, you could still see the marks where they've welded the steel in.

well trust me, if they do good quality work for that price, then its worth it at that price, even tho u could probably get it for around 800 i think, and that would be a nice quality job

yeah thats about what we charge to do door handles. there is a pretty good bit of wiring and stuff involved and the paint is the most time consuming part. 1200 isnt a really bad deal.

I got my handles shaved for 25 a door...but thats cause my boy did them...he did a great job, looks like they were never there, the poppers are 32 dollar 'trunk release solenoids' from circuit city wired into my alarm...but its all not painted yet...so with regards to ur quote, its not too unreasonable because most places i checked wanted 50-100 a door and up to 1000 to paint, so ur quote's not too bad...

Never go cheap when it comes to body work and paint. If they have a good repituation for great work then its worth it. I wanna do mine but I wont bother. If someone hits both sides of my car and they need to be repainted anyways then I will.

i think 1200 is about right...i asked many place around 50-70 shaved each door & 500 for the popper & installation & painting is 300-400...

how about just shave the rear & install the popper on the rear only, that mightl look like the coupe that way & save money too!!
