The white ones are a lower temperature, so they're brighter. But I like my purple ones cuz they're "blingy"

HID Kits run for around $300-400. Joe's kit is a 5300k kit (Whiter) while mine is around like 12000k (purpleish). The lower the temperature the brighter the HID's are but the closer to halogen color they get. My kit is made by Xtec while joes is made by Phillips (came from xenondepot.com).

Wiring is VERY easy, snip and splice 2 wires, ground 2 wires and insert the bulbs and mount the ballast somewhere, and you're done. Dont let a shop rip u off and install it for $100 or so.
