Satin black interior

Hey guys,

To help me get over the recent loss of my best friend I decided to tear apart my interior once again. So far it's been through several color changes (Stock > Spraypaint silver > Metalcast Candy Blue > 350z Burnt Orange > Color matched Munich Silver to my OZ). Now Im going low profile to a satin black color. I've finished a few peices and want feedback on how it looks. The entire interior will be black (trim peices, and headliner carpeting). Someone said that I should clearcoat it so it would be glossy, but I personally like the satin type gloss (blurrier shinyness rather than a sharper shine and reflection created by clearcoat). Tell me what you guys think so far.

Kareem, looks good. I would make the pillars glossy, but leave the dash pieces matte.

I've been wanting to turn my interior all black.. are you using paint in the can or professional paint? If it's spray paint does it wear off at all? And lastly, what kind of paint do you use for the headliner/carpet?

*edit* Oh and yeah it looks really good. Good job

That's professional paint. I try and stay away from spraycan paint as it wears off and uv light discolors it very easily. Im not using paint for the headliner, im buying black carpetting and reupholstering it myself. I need to cover the hole i cut out where my roofmount DVD screen used to be.
