New CF Idea. Wut u guys think?
Like everyone else said it would look cool up close but weird from far away. It's a pretty good idea though. Only downside is the cost. Think about it, the rrm cf grill alone is $250'ish. Now to get someone to do some R&D i don't think it would be a wise decision to go that route if you're tight on money. But hey if you got the money to blow and want something different, then go for it. More power to ya.

Many car audio shops use real carbon fiber to cover fiberglass boxes for custom installs. If you go to them they will be able to do it. Make sure they use an external use resin and not an interior one. I highly suggest that once it is done that you go and have the piece clearcoated at a body shop to prevent stone chips and weathering. Good luck and keep us posted.

cant vote bc you didnt put up enough options, i say dont do it, but i dont think cf is played out just yet

i don't think it would look that bad to the point where it's like my bumper has been cut off. I see cars all the time with CF hood, CF lips, CF trunks....and it's still noticeable. I'm just sayin, who pays that much attention to cars at a distance. At a distance during the day, u can still make it out. At a distance in the night, u probably can't see it but heck I can't even see that far in the distance at night time anyway. Besides, it counts up close. Especially in the showroom or, if i had intercooler behind there too
(i wish). All in all...I'd like to get this done like after everything else i want done to the car within my credit limit, hehe. Probably laying CF on it would be a better idea
I think it would look awesome!! I wish I had an aftermarket bumper to do something to. All I have is my CF lip (which is for sale)(shameless plug).
I say do it, I've wanted to do this to the Ken Style bumper too, just the middle piece and leave the rest of it painted.

i beleive im gettin my rmr lip 2 done in cf from same people... they seem to do good work..i would suggest using them if ur going through with this plan.....i am gettin whole lip done for 400 bucks...urs should be cheaper cuz it is small.
i dont think its a good idea......
but then again i dont like body kits in general let alone something added to it that makes it scream "yeah, im rice, but this rice has got some seasoning to it"

j/k.I know it would, so it would probably be the last thing to do 2 my ride when I could afford it.

It would look ok but I'm not really into spending money on things that don't serve a purpose.
