That's a decent deal (so far). btw, I don't think it fits ALL Lancers (it won't fit 04 or 05 models) just fyi

Here's the thread of the first guy to get one in the US (he had his dealership order it from Japan) https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ight=JDM+grill

Notice he took a pic of the sticker so you know the part number when you place an order (MR539651). Now all you have to do is go to a dealer and say you want one! I know there was a website that sells it too, and that member was the one who showed it to me. Sorry I can't find it anymore.

Oh yeah, and I might be selling mine if I decide I still need more money after selling my go mods. Just hesitant to let go of it, I like the look so much more than the stock one.

do the evo 7 hoods have the grille attached, or is it just some aftermarket styles? that'll probably be the way to go to have the evo look on the front end, as opposed to re-building the entire front end like the evo 8.

For that, all you have to do is find a pic of an Evo7 and see for yourself. Now where could you find one of those?
As you can see, the grill isn't really part of the hood like it is on the Lancer, but the space is still there, filled in by a black mesh and framed by the lights and hood. So the trick is getting a framed grille (like the RRM grille) which will make it look pretty close, and then add a body kit to make it convincing.

That's Hollywood Park, which is right smack dab in the middle of Inglewood. I drove down the street to get Taco Bell there and counted 5 security cameras in the resturant while getting my food through a bullet-proof glass, dual locking door, teller window (at a freakin' Taco Bell!!!)

the minute i saw urban's car i fell in love with that grille. i bought it back when only he and link had one and you had to call the seattle dealership and pay like $212 for it. best money i ever spent. it makes the lancer look less like a korean car what with the g-string grille. and its so subtle unless you are an enthusiast you would never notice.

Yeah, I fell in love with that grille when I saw it on Link's car back in Feb 03 (Cal Slam) he sold it to Karlen then, and I was like where do I get one?

hey does anyone know if the ralliart grille requires any modification to put it in? or is it bolt and unbolt?

I'm pretty sure it's a direct bolt-on if it comes painted. Otherwise, just paint.
