import trenz evo vii help...

i just bought a used evo vii front end conversion(babyboba29's old one), and i need some help. i need to put the strike on the hood to keep the hood closed. I looked at my stock hood, and i don't see how it comes off. i don't know if it matters that i have a 2003, but i called my local stealership and the guy at the parts counter was no help. can you guys let me know if you can remove yours. thanks.

i got it taken care of. you can't take your "strike" off of the hood because the way it is installed. i got the latch that came with it. rigo...i took the hood off in about 1 minute, that was the easy part. i just started scratching my head when i had to take the strike off and i saw no way to get to it. i'm waiting to hear back from the guy at the body shop about getting it all painted. hopefully it'll be done soon!

rigo and pete....you guys know anyone who paints for not too much $$$. i had a set of skirts lined up that were black already and the guy sold them to someone else. i have a set that i can get for a good price, but they're thunder grey.
