Painting Valve Cover

I was doing some searching and I really want to paint my valve cover.

First, I know I need high-temp paint but can someone let me know what brand to buy. Also do I need to primer first or anything or is it just straight up painting the color I want?

Second, I need help on which color to use. My car is thunder gray...I have a theme of gray and black and alittle blue in the interior(dash). So what color should I use?

A glossy black or a blue or gray.....not sure what color. I'm open for suggestions.

Also what else in the engine bay can I paint?

Let me know Thanks.

Metallic blue. That's what I want to do. Tape over the lettering so they remain silver.

I just painted the letters and Mitsubishi symbol red. Then I got a red oil cap, red hoses, and a red strut bar, and think it looks great.

Insted of panting it why not powdercoat it insted thats what I did

If you can ask around if any one powdercoats parts. All you have to do is clean the inside of the cover really good as in no oil or grease inside and out. that a nother way to do it

I don't have red in my car though. Unless just the engine bay was consisting of red.

I did mine in high temp gloss black. Looks great except for the chip that I put in it when I dropped a wrench on it.

I can't remember. I know it was rated at 1500 degrees. I originally got it for my brake calipers. Any decent part store will carry it.

Here is a picture of what it looks like. My engine bay was not to clean when this picture was taken.

Ok cool.

What else in the engine bay can you paint? I want to try to start making it look somewhat better looking. Plus it's a cheap dressup mod

This is what I want to do. I'd also leave the 16 Valve part silver too, I just got lazy in Photoshop.
