Ichibahn E-Brake Question

I tried a search nothing really came up but anyways... I want to change my e-brake, will this Ichibahn E-brake work? It's for an automatic too!

Also, do aftermarket e-brakes need e-brake boots?

I'd like to know if that will fit also, but i'm pretty sure that you don't need a boot. hope someone knows if someone will know if this fits or not

You dont need an ebrake boot, but dont expect that to fit perfectly because its a universal item. If u want a perfect fitting one i would recommend the OEM mitsubishi evo Brake handle.

some guy on the boards put a Sparco E-brake handle on his ES...forgot which member. What he had to do was kinda carve the stock handle to make it fit. Kinda of a lot work but if you really wanna do that...by all means. Just don't F' up.

How much would that cost? Dealerships rip you a new one on prices and install.

I went to this store near my house and they said the same thing yesterday that because it's a universal they would have to shave the stock handle to make it fit. I was like... ...don't think I wanna do that. So maybe going with the OEM Evo handle might be better.
