i'd like to swap out the 4g94 for the evo 4g63, other than that just small stuff. cat-back exhaust is on the way.

Why not just buy an evo, with the cost of the lancer + engine swap + labor it will be damn near an evos price tag.

i called about swapping the 4g94 with a 4g63t, some ad i saw in import tuner magazine, the person i spoke to told me it would cost about $1,700 for the engine. the bad thing about it, the engine has about 40,000 miles on it.

i'd get a brand spanking new 04/05 ralliart from a totalled donor and turbo the hell out of it.... but then again, its only a sohc and u can get the 4g63 and turbo the hell out of that. my point? .....none.

doesn't it take a lot of work to make the 4g63 work in a non-evo? i heard somewhere that the cost of buying the 4g63 and making it work inside a regular lancer would cost about as much as buying an evo. correct me if i'm wrong though.
