do you know if they are a legit business? not just one on ebay? legally they can't do that which I am sure you know.. Don't let em scare ya man, if they do it to me by gosh i'm going after them.. I'm not pre-law for nothing!

 

I took down the comment until I receive the hood and then I will totally bash them. What this business consists of is you order the hood from a company in California, but you deal with vendors from Japan who ship you the hood from their warehouse. Now I do not mean to offend anyone, but honestly dealing with the reps in Japan is horrible! They seem to know English well enough to conduct business, but can not explain details clearly that are extremely important to my sale. I have fought with them for a few hours now and supposedly they are coming to pick up the incorrect hood tonight and will ship out the new one today. This is one of the many proposals they have suggested, which I do not believe because one rep told me it is company policy to receive my incorrect hood before they can ship out the right one which will take a total of 6 weeks! I am totally frustrated, but will keep you guys posted. Hopefully everything will be settled tonight.....

 

dude, for now, suck it up, act like their best friend and be nothing but courteous and nice when dealing with them

then, when you get what you want, rip them a new one on every forum you can and especially ebay

it kinda sounds underhanded, but some companies dont deal with you if they know you are going to bash them

 

That is exactly what I plan on doing. I just got off the phone with them again and the company will be sending a shipping company to come pick up the hood tomorrow instead of today. Once everything is said and done, and they stick to their promises of getting the correct hood here by the week after next then I may become neutral because the owner of the company said he guarantees to take care of all of his customers problems, but I promise an extensive explanation in a new thread when everything is said and done. Regardless I will bash the hell out of them on ebay, and let you guys know exactly what happened. It is ridiculous to create a false trader rating on ebay at 97% when you can't leave a negative feedback for these guys without them being malicious pr*cks. I will never deal with another international company again, but it was misleading on ebay because their sister company is stationed in California and when you call them to finalize you're order they direct you to the warehouse in Japan. The shop in California only accepts payments, go figure.....

 

that is really shady. I am sorry to hear about all of that, but you would think that they would fix the problem right away instead of waiting for negative feedback

 

Listen to this B.S. Called up the company and they told me that for the past 2 months VIS has produced all the wrong hoods with all the wrong ID numbers on them. I am one of 11 people who bought one for a Lancer an got screwed over. I think I am just going to get a refund and then order an evo style hood from RRM, but their hood is another $250, I don't want the grill that comes on it, and I live in NYC and NJ and I want the open vents over the engine to be closed because of snow. If anyone has the piece that came under the VIS hood I will buy it from you, because I know a lot of guys on the West Coast take them off. I'll keep you guys posted on what I will do, but never do business with CarbonCreations on Ebay, now that I have a problem, I found out that this is a common problem with them.
