I recently ordered an evo style carbon fiber vis hood off ebay from carbon innovations and the vis company in Japan sent me the wrong hood that took 3 weeks to get to me! I am still waiting to get my car fixed from an accident a month ago, but the rep from Vis is fighting with me stating that he sent me the correct hood. Underneath all VIS hoods just behind where the middle vents are located is a model number molded into the hood. Mine reads 2001LAN-T010. I need someone who has this exact hood to please post the correct model number from the underside of the hood so I can clarify everything with the rep from Japan. The hood I was sent is not even close to fitting and actually has a grill molded into it, and I also tried explaining to the rep that out cars have a separate grill. If someone could please get this number for me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You!

 

Post a pic of the hood that they sent you. Maybe you can get someone to buy the hood you have now instead of having to re-send the wrong one that they sent you.

 

what has the seller tried to do? anything? I'm considering ordering a evo style carbon fiber hood from him, but if you are having problems count me out of that deal!

the right number is 2002LAN E5010.

mine fit pretty good and has the grill riveted in. not molded

Yea I put the hood up next to my girlfriend's car and it is a mirage hood. Thanks a lot for all of the replies guys, and especially the part number. They have made no attempt to help me. I left a negative feedback on ebay and receieved an immediate call from their sales rep. He proceeded to tell me if I did not withdraw my comment he would continue to charge me for the hood, pick up the wrong hood, but do nothing further until I withdraw that comment. This is the only reason they have such a high trader rating. They scare their customers into doing this in order to keep business. I only gave in because my car is not driveable and I need this hood ASAP!

 

Take the comment down, get the correct hood, then place the comment back on there.
