If your going to do it, replace the carpet as well or else it would look stupid. If you went like white panels, and either light grey, white, or like dark blue carpet it could look alright.

the best and quickest way to find other peoples' interiors, go to the photo gallery and type interior and that should bring up some pics(thats how i found those two).

P.S. i am not saying that u should try usin the search function, just stating how i found those pics i once saw.

well my stock carpet is light gray, but even if i painted the carpet that wouldnt be too smart seeing as if i have floor mats which would just cover up the carpet. do you think i should just leave carpet the same and just buy different color mats??

This isn't my lancer obviously.. but this is a paintjob I did on my old eclipse. Turned out great. If you take apart your vents and all the little knobs and use contrasting colors, it stands out above everyone elses.

it would have to be fabric spray paint of some sort if it was. I've heard that u can dye certain parts the color u want to make it last longer.

Depends, you get what you pay for, you can get away with just painting the dash and such but if you want it to look professional the carpet should be changed as well.
