Kaminari is okay kit IMO. Your choice I guess.

If your going to I/C boosted your car, kaminari isnt the best choice. The front end seems too short.

 

so what kit(s) would allow to do some modding to the engine and such?

I like the kaminari kit, 1 it looks good, and 2 it's the only kit that I know of thats poly urethane and not fiberglass like all of the others offered for the lancer. It's also not seen that often, most of the other lancer owners are going with evo7 or ken from what I've seen.
