Well think of it this way.... An EVO and a USDM Lancer have the same roots from the original Lancer Rally cars. There is a herritage between the two and they are from the same family. The Kit cars for Lamborghini and Ferrari are for GM cars. They have NO relation what so ever. And as long as you don't tell people and lie saying it is an EVO you will never get any flack, people will just say - - "Oh, it's not an EVO?? It looks great!!" Where you become a poser is when you get the EVO badges and you simply refuse to race people trying to pass as a true EVO.

 

agreed but i never wanted to pass my car off as an evo....it is what it is ...a lancer....i leave my lancer badge on my trunk on because thats what it is....im even putting another "LANCER" BADGE ON MY FRONT BUMPER....i just like how the kit looks

 

Yo that is a hot kit man! I thought it WAS the Evo8 kit put onto the Lancer... sheesh... almost brought my hopes up on that project of trying to put a whole Evo8 front end onto my Lancer!
