High tech features in OZ. Pics!!!!

Hey guys,

Some pics of a couple of things that I installed in my car. One is my Creative zen Mp3 player. I like this a lot more than ipod. Placed it in the armrest and wired it up through a clarion fm modulator. Fits in there like a charm. Plus I can always just pull it out to charge it up. I never have to change cd or anything. Just put it on random on go!!!!! Plugs directly into the antenna so sound quality isnt bad. Second is a camera that I put into the trunk keyhole. Much wider angle than the rearview plus I can see right behind the trunk. Helps when backing up.

I also have my phone hooked up too. I have a microphone by the steering wheel. Its hard to see to it doesnt look all tacky. It plays through the speakers so I dont have to hold the phone and worry about shifting and stuff. ALso rings through the speakers when driving. Didnt take any pics though of this. Maybe next time.

Sorry about the quality of the pics. I took them with my phone. WHat do you guys think!!!!

Dang man, those are some sweet customizations. Nice ideas, but I'm not liking the placement of the MP3 player. What if you want to rest your arm? Also, any concern with thieves looking in the car and seeing the MP3 player? Do you have a screen then for the camera in the back? All very great ideas, nice job

I sometimes lock the mp3 player so my arm doesnt mess it up. ANd at night I can easilty remove the mp3. Takes less than 3 seconds so I dont have to worry aobut it getting stolen.

Talk about creative, dang man! that is tight! I'm figuring that you don't leave the mp3 player in the car! I mean that would be stupid, like not taking your detachable faceplate with you when you get out! Had a friend do that cause she was too lazy to pop it out and somebody jacked her stuff man!!! Anyway, nice customization and let us know what you are upto next man! PEACE!!!!

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. Next I am trying to make a circuit so that when I put the car in reverse the side mirrors go down. Like some bmw cars. and it goes back to normal when you shift out of reverse.
