body kit question

alright i need to know something from someone who has the evo vii series body kit from accolade. because i am having a problem with the install on the rear bumper. the problem i have is that the indention for the license plate in the bumper is hitting the metal bumper piece and is causing it not to fit. i need to know if anyone else has had a problem with this and if so what they did to fix it. i have a couple ideas myself but i just want to hear a few others. thank you

If it is the JDM shortie, you'll need to take off that bar...sorry.

Wait, And read this.

If JDM Shorty version, removal of rear crash bar is needed.

IF US Spec then u need to remove the metal plate welded to the rear crash bar, and u need to do some modification to the liecense plate holder.

Dude, don't take it off. All you gotta is take a hack saw and slits down both sides of the indentation. Then when you put it on it will push the indent out a little.

well i finaly got his back bumper on and it turned out pretty good i think i didnt take off the metal bumper i just modified the body kit i cut out the licence plat holder and made it smaller it was to recesed but that created a nother problem you could now see the bumper so we took some screen mesh and poped it in to place and it looks like it suposed to be that way and as for the licens plate it was screw in to the bumper its self ill post pics when i go to his place and take some

I have the Evo VII version 1 r.b and I didn't take off the r.bar. I just slightly modified the bar and it fit perfectly.
