New Shoes

got some new shoes for my ride.
17x7 Konig Trouble
205x40 Toyo Proxes FZ4

In Australian Weather, i am finding the FZ4 to have great traction, its been a little wet here lately, but i havent had any problems.

a couple of days before the wheels, got a set of -30mm lovells springs & a whiteline rear sway bar.. dramatically different drive now.
the springs are a little bouncy on the stock shocks, but they will do. the rear sway bar is one of the most noticeable mods i have done, really glues the back end to the road on the corners.. so much more fun to drive.

yeah, my next door neighbour is an electrician and thats his apprentice's car.. parked there every day messing up the street. it is a junker, thats for sure.. can't see it in the pic, but it has a decent set of mags.

the car still looks a little high i rekon, i will be getting some skirts soon which will help alot. just dont know which to get, want some fancy ones as it will be the only other exterior mod i do.. dont have any intention of getting a full on kit, i like the lancer bumpers and stuff.. maybe the RMR evo front lip would be a nice touch though.

yeah i was going to say is you really need a lip kit or something to bring it all together... it'd increase the way everything looks ten fold.

yep, i am pretty sure the lights are the same.. i have blacked them though, as per the DIY on this forum.

side skirts and a front lip will definitely bee the next mods I'll do.
closely followed by, throttle body, intake manifold upgrade & a greddy emanage.

then the bank can have a rest for a bit..

you should get mudd flaps painted to match the car, theres a jetta gli (red) with matching flaps where im at, it looks awsome. very rallyish. The wheels are nice, but the lancer has such small brakes they look kinda funny to me.

thanks, i am really happy with them. was a bit worried at first about the dark rims with the dark car, but i like how they look. went out today and got some red brake caliper paint will be doing that next weekend, should look pretty good.

thanks for the comments!
