p.s. im just joking, i noticed ppl around here like to argue a lot, so let me just say, there are no d pillars on the lancer

 

ok.. heres the update.. i went to see the guy today.. i gave him my a-pillars.. he's working on them... he's gonna make a mold.. and when the mold is done he'll let me know a price and i can start taking orders.. or ill just buy a bunch of sets and sell them back to you guys.. (dont worry.. i wont markup the price, im not doin this to make money).. After i see how good the a-pillars come out im going to save up some money to get the molds made for the b and c pillars.. but for now we have apillars commin within two weeks i'd say. This guy also does carbon kevlar.. im thinking of having mine done in kevlar cuz it looks yellow and it'll match the car

i believe that kevlar is the same price as fiber.. im not too sure.. ill have to ask the guy.. here is a pic of a carbon kevlar spark plug cover for a civic.. just to give you an idea of what it looks like...

ok.. i went to talk to the guy yesterday and he has been too busy to do them yet.. he told me he should have them done by next week. ill keep ya'll posted!

 

I woudl like the a and the c pillers to have tweeter mounts.

if he could do that I wuld be in for all 3 pillers.

yes.. i spoke with him last week.. he had both the mold's done for each a-pillar.. he told me one more week and it will be complete.. i have to go pick them up tomorrow.. i will post pix as soon as i get them...

 

And the drivers side pillar has a 2 gauge pod in it??

 

yes.. that is correct.. driver side had two guage pods. passenger is just normal in cf.. when i get some more money i am going to have the b and c pillars made also..

 

bit..you know I'm just waiting!!!!!! How soon before he makes some for others?? And $ quotes yet?

 

hehe.. im not too sure about the price yet.. it shouldnt be too expensive.. and he can start making them as soon as the first set it done.. but i just wanna get my pair and take some pix of it first to show you guys before we go ahead and place orders.. but this guy is really good.. so im not to worried about how they come out.. im gonna stop by there today and see the status.. ill post again later tonight

 

will this work on my evo!!?? does it have a cutout for the treble speaker in the bottom of the pillar?

if it does, this is exactly what i've been looking for!!

although i'm not into the carbon fiber thing... it'll look weird in my evo.. unless i change everything in my car to carbon fiber..

could he make it in regular hard plastic too?.. if he could make it, id buy it for sure!! AND! my company would also like to distribute them as well!
