and to answer the question about the hole for the tweater speaker, no this set does not have the hole for it. The guy may be willing to make one with holes.. but im not too sure.. He may have to make another mold for that. I will find out.
UPDATE: Ok i went yesterday to check it out.. both the molds are done.. and they look phat.. the only thing was he ran out of carbon fiber materal.. so he had to order some more.. he told me to check back friday and it should be done.. he also said.. "im sorry it took so long.. it wont take this long in the future to make more of them".. he has just been really busy and hasnt had too much time to work on it.. he said the molding is the hard part.. once thats done, making the cf is easy.. so now im just counting down the days guys!! almost there!!
yes.. sorry for this taking so long guys.. trust me.. once the first set is done it wont take more then a couple days to get more sets made.. i have to go see the guy today.. and hopefully it will be complete!! Tomorrow I am leaving for Houston TX until sunday.. so i wont be around.. but if i get them today ill post pix tonight.. dont you worry
oh, and estimated price should be around 300 or less
which i believe is very good for two entire pillars made in full carbon fiber!!
ill keep ya'll updated.. dont worry

yes.. it did.. but he is a busy guy and doesnt work on just my project.. he told me that he has to work on it during his free time.. he told me that once the first set is completed it wont take him long at all to make more.. he just has to get a feel for the molds, so they come out perfect.
Is this replacing the existing plastic A pillar cover that you see on the inside ?
Not 100% sure but i think doing CF is just like doing fibreglass, you buy a roll of fibre cloth and some resin, get a mold, put a layer of fibre, paint on resin, repeat until you have the desired strength. Mite be worth keeping the $300 and learning a new skill for yourself

Yes, it does replace the entire pillar, both drivers side and passenger.. drivers side will have two built in guage pods. And yes, you are correct about the process of making carbon fiber products, you can choose to make it yourself.. but i must warn you that i know it is not as easy as it may seem. This guy has been doing it for many many years, he has made full carbon fiber body's for cars, so this is just mad easy for him. And the price may be cheaper then 300.. thats just an estimate.. we arent sure right yet
and yes uranium9v you can have the #2 set
