hehe.. the price will probably be $300.. maybe a little less.. im thinking deal like $300 shipped or sumthing.. now as for when we'll actually see them, im not too sure.. i went to talk to the guy yesterday and he has been really behind in his work and hasnt had much time to work on this project (he is doing this for me as a favor and cant work on it all day.. so its gonna take longer then usual) But he did say once he has the first set complete he will know the molds and be set and ready to make tons of them.. so just keep your pants on.. they are commin

CF Pillar = $300
Gauges = $150

or

Apexi Speed/Rev meter = $200

I'm thinking I'll have to go with Apexi. $300 is about 3 times what I'd be willing to pay.

the last news i got from the carbon fiber guy was that he hasnt had alot of time to work on it lately.. but he is getting as much done as he can in his free time. he has the molds done, it just takes time to get them working right with the cf.. he said it takes a few times of messing up to 'learn the mold'. but he said once he gets it, it'll be simple and he can make tons... so were hopin soon...

i know i know.. im working on that too.. i believe the only thing different from the Lancer a-pillar and the Evo a-pillar is the speaker mount at the bottom.. if the demand is high enough for the evo i will get the pillars from Mitsu dealer and have them made also.. but first i wanna get one set complete to see how it looks..

ohhh kay.. good news eveyone!!! i went to see the guy yesterday and he is just about done.. he gave me a complete set w/o the pods so i can take pix for ya'll. I'm still workin on attaching them.. they wont clip on like the stock ones.. these have to be attached some how, which is not too difficult. Let me just tell you, they look HOT in the car!!! i cant wait to take pix and post them..

oh yeah.. and the better news is we discussed pricing.. and we're gonna let them go for $250 a pair!! Thats both a-pillars in full carbon fiber.. and the drivers side will have two guage pods built in.

im very excited.. im in like a carbon fiber phase now.. i want everything in my car to be cf.. hehehe.. next we are gonna work on the b and c pillars.. (those should be easier) and POSSIBLY making the ceiling in cf!! (but thats still a maybe).. alright.. ill post pix later tonight.. any questions, or to pre-order PM me..

-J

EDIT: Oh yeah, and for you Evo owners, i am almost positive that the pillar itself is the same size.. the only difference is you have the tweeter at the bottom.. if there are any Evo owners in the Westchester NY area who would be willing to give up their pillars to have that worked on, PM me!
