Fender rolling...how to?
i'll talk to some of my friends that got a lot of body mod's done...but off hand the cheapest place i kno is EZ Auto Body in Roselle. its not the "best" quality but they do whatever you want really cheap. and i believe there is this one shop in newark that does crazy ****...i'll let u kno.

Anyhow, my friend who runs a Camero in autocross rolls his rear fenders for clearence. He just takes a bat, puts it between the fender and the tire, and applies pressure to the fender using the tire as leverage. Then just roll the bat back and forth while appling pressure. That shoudl give ya some extra clearence. What size tires are you running that your getting rubs? Is it all the time, or just while driving hard? Hope I helped ya out a bit....

im sittin on 18's on tein coilovers. i plan on going down to florida next week and me n my boy want to slam my car to the ground and i dont want it to rub. thank you guys for the info.

Often on civics and Integra they roll their fenders with a baseball bat. I've seen it often done with a bat. they put it between the fender, lying on the tire and then push the bat downwards so the lever effect rolls the inner part of the fender up.
You need to do it really slow so that nothing kinks.

i dunno if i'm too late in answering to ur Q, but i know what fender rolling is. my firend just got his fender rolled. it means the same as what it states, basically, ricers (like me and others
) and ppl who want to put in big fat *** tires. i believe 17 is big for the lancer, and 18 is doable, but ur pushing it, i believe starting from 19" 20" 21" inches, where the wheels are thin and wouldn't fit in the wheel well, ppl usually "roll" their fenders, or shave the inside, but its not really good man, dont do it, its not worth it, u lose performance, its all about show and no go, and besides by the time u put on the big wheels ur car is not being driven in its most optimal way, like 17 and 18's are good, but after that its too big and u need to perform body works at body shop, and fender rolling can cost you from like 400-1200$ or even more depending on the quality of the bodyshop. my firend just got his fender rolled on his civic for a 20", but i told him, he wont be able to race with that, if he hits a big pothole his suspension is phucked.
which also brings you to that topic, if u roll ur fenders it has to be cuz of big rims, and if its big rims u usually gotta re-adjust ur suspension, shock-absorbers(dampers), and spring and what not. and u got other shyt to worry about, like "toe in" and "toe out" and positive and negative cambers. its bytch of a work.
if i were u man, its not worth it, get urself a nice fat 17 or 18" with like 215(or 225)/40R tires, and all u gotta do is get urself a good coilover system and lower ur car, dont even have to roll ur fenders.

deux....i already have 18's on 40 tires. i already have the coilover system. thank you for the info tho. i will be looking into body shops around here this week to see if they will do it. i'll post up any info i find.

you can get a fender rolling tool from Tire Rack. Kinda expensive, but you get to do it yourself. If you rent one its just really a wait.
Much better than the baseball bat method, ive seen it get messed up REAL BAD
And yes, rolling your fenders is visible. You can tell a rolled fender vs a stock one. At least I can, maybe back from my days cruisin the VW forums i kinda got used to looking at it/rolling fenders being a regular thing
