ebay lancer

i just want to get a large group of opinouns on parts from ebay, mainly heads, tails, side veiw mirrors, and shorty antenna's. i am thinking of buying some of these, but im worried about quality. i would like to hear from people who have bought these items, and what problems they had with the product and or service. i have heard some bad stories , quality wise, from some people.

Best to buy from real venders... This is your car we are talking about, not some crappy game console that you bought at a garage sale that need a new controller. Thats the crap you find on ebay... lol

...Okay maybe that was overboard... sorry I'm just in a bad mood with ebay right now because the last thing I bought on there was total crap!

Ebay is the greatest, in my opinion. Where else could you have found a 5 piece (2 rear bumpers) body kit for my '03 Lancer for only $150? Thanks Tie_Rod...

Ebay is only as good as the person who's shopping there. When buying from ebay you need to be careful. There are a TON of knock-offs, scam artists, and low quality items for sale. But at the same time, there are quality items on ebay as well. You need to be smart and know the difference. You also have to do research before you buy so that you know the products and know wether or not you are actually getting a better deal. You also need to check feedback. Now I know there have been cases of people with 100% feedback scamming people, but ebay has cracked down on that, plus it doesn't happen very often. Also, I try to only buy products from vendors/dealers who sell on ebay. They are generally easier to deal with than private sellers, and you can still save some money. Personally, I love ebay. I buy and sell a lot of things on there, for my car and for other things. But I shop and sell smart, and I've had nothing but good experiences with it.

+1....like the strut bars i have in my car...i love them, and i dont see how other ones could be that much better. i'm not rallying my car...its a daily driver. if you're not an idiot on ebay and bid on the first thing you see, you can get some good stuff there for great prices.

I've been scammed on ebay before, so I am very careful.

Recently I just purchased Tein basic coilover on ebay for 740 shipped. So after the install, I pretty much got the coilovers and got them put in for the same as you would pay RRM just for the parts.

I would never buy a body kit or engine parts on ebay though. Maybe a shortshifter or headlights/taillights. You just need to be careful/

As for the shorty-antennas, don't buy them, just cut your stock antenna and it will work the same, plus it will save you about 30 bucks. Well that's what I did.

get a shorty antenna from someone on the boards, I got mine from someone here for like $10 shipped. As far as other items, I'd maybe go for the black tail lights, or maybe those Ralliart shirts, those things are SEXY ! Maybe I should look into that 2psi supercharger for $100 they have, which just attaches to the intake ! hahaha
