alot of polishes for metals are mildly corrosive IIRC
so yes, it would do something to clearcoat and the finish of the wheels, although im not sure if it would be too too noticable unless you went crazy with it. I mean, they are wheels. Why would their construction/finishing be that fragile if they are that close to contact with the ground/dirt/whatever random chemicals are on the road?
Just dont use it on your paint lol thats like using rubbing compound on a clearcoated car to remove scratches. Sure, it removes scratches, by removing the clearcoat the scratches are in
however it works if you re-apply. I did that on my old benz.</rant>

and in this case he is the moderator and better yet he's super thier must be some decorum or this whole baord would go to **** cause everyone has an issue of getting side tracked on dumb things.
