I guess that you go for the looks. It looks decent but you just made your car a 18sec 1/4 mile car, I hope you understand that..

They were like $250. I got them through a local shop. They aren't full coilovers, just the adjustable sleeve/spring. I got them back in the day before the tein basics came out, and I didn't want to pay $1500 for the tein ss. Now that I'm older and wiser (and have more money!) I'll be getting the tein basic set before the start of the 06 show season. But yeah the skunks aren't too bad for standard coilover sleeves. Ride quality isn't too bad, and handling is great. Havn't blown a stock shock yet either. Having 18's helps though cuz you don't have to drop it as low to get rid of fender gap (which we all know is the root of all evil!)

I must agree. Why not just use that money from the cost of the rims and tires and use it on a down payment on a cavalier or a sunfire. That way when you put all your money into making an ugly slow pos look kinda better you can say your in good company.

If a civic is rice then so are you. At least a civic is a well built car that has received awards and good reviews. The lancer is on par with neons and cavys, it has some of the worst ratings for any car on the market. Thats why the first thing any self respecting evo owner should do is debadge the car.

Dont be a dick, you know why they make a US lancer forum so people who like them and who like to modify them can chat freely without haters like you to talk crap on them, GO join a chevy forum

HAHAHA Cavalier?!?! Sunfire?!?! Then you contradict your own dumb *** that can't even spell chief right by saying, and I quote, "The lancer is on par with neons and cavys, it has some of the worst ratings for any car on the market."

I am not too keen on the looks of the SRT seeing as how it doesn't much differentiate itself from a neon, but that is definitely a nice car for the money. It is pretty formidable in its price range.

i guess i got some peeps on my side huh, anyways hey i heard that the lancer and neon are switching roles in 2007, by that i mean exterior. suposedly lancer is going round style and neon is going more boxy, if thats true maybe that will put srt-4 on a little different platform then the stock neon.

oh and neon i they actually replaced/changed it to the dodge caliper:

quote from article
"What you see here is the first look at the upcoming 2006 Neon replacement, codenamed PM49. It will be a hatchback that will carry styling cues from the 2003 Dodge Avenger Concept, and will be built on the upcoming Mitsubishi GS (Lancer) platform. These photos are purchased from Brenda Priddy/Chris Doane for the rights to use on Autoblog, please only link to Autoblog. Click the link for some more shots. You can also click the pics for bigger versions

Dodge’s 5-door hatchback will share its platform with several other vehicles from the Chrysler group. Two car-based SUVs based off this platform are expected to make it to production: one from Dodge and one from Jeep."
