Well you also can't judge intelligence from accomplishments. I know of plenty of dumbasses who have written books or who have become very prominent figures. As for the second part, you shouldn't feel the need to boast about your life simply to somehow validate your point, thats poor logic. If you're happy with your life, great, you don't need to defend yourself to people on the internet especially since I don't see how being able to speak several languages has anything to do with cars, I don't know, maybe I'm just weird like that.

To answer you question, "why a Lancer?"... I liked it. Period.
Yeah I feel sooo big, look at my giant woody... does it bother you that I dont feel uncomfortable claiming that I have qualities in order to defend myself when called "ignorant"... oh I forgot, only cocky self centered people do that, cool people act discouraged and call it modesty...
F*ckin' cry about it, jezis...

Thank You for this most entertaining thread

a person with such great accomplishments and intelligence as you could obviously afford a better car, or would have chosen a car with better aftermarket support/potential than Lancer ES.

Youre puttin words in my mouth, I said I do good work and I trust my own work cus Its my car and my ***, so yeah do you get the point there?
I never said my work is "superior" to anybody's... Nor did I say that "oh they look like cool racing seats so they must be really really good!!! *GASP!"

"In the case of a rollover the stock seat can actually bend inwards allowing the driver/passenger to be protected from the roof as it caves in. Ebay seats do not have to go through this kind of tests."
- Amby.

F*ckin Aye!!! THANK YOU!... Thats all I wanted, was some facts and "WHY" the stock seats are more than what they seemed to me...
Youre all retarded for turning this into an argument and putting words in my mouth about 500 times...
Only 1 person here actually understood what I had to say...
Perhaps youre right, maybe I have self esteem issues... go ahead and attack my ego somemore... Oh its killin' me... Im so ignorant... I cant say that Im not cus everyone will climb up my *** about it... oh the agony!!! Jezis youre a bunch o' kindergardeners...
We know more than you blablabla youre not smart blablabla oh yeah well...blablabla my dicks bigger than yours blablabla...
Jezis... I wanted facts and it took all that to get 'em?

It would have been far easier if you have simply done the research yourself. This is why I called you ignorant, not because you are stupid or somehow inferior to other people but because you had failed to do any research on the subject before you ran your mouth off. I do this is to a lot of people because unfortunately the majority of people are ignorant and have no desire to change it (including me on many subjects). Simply turn on the news and you'll see my point, you have celebrities acting like they somehow know more about world affairs that people who have been involved with it for 30+ years, its ridiculous. Now that you know why stock seats and high end seats are safer, you are no longer ignorant on this issue. As for the self esteem issues, thats not my problem and will probably go away with time as I'm guessing you're still a young person without a whole lot of life experience like most of the people on this forum.
Now then have you learned something from all this (apart from the fact I'm an ***)?

Oh and if you actually want to know why harnesses are a very very bad idea for daily use (if you're just using them on the track its perfectly fine, I plan to do the same myself) check out the motorsports section, there was very nice write up by a doctor about all the risks involved. Unfortunately harnesses have moved from being a safety and performance tool used for serious driving to more of a status or show symbol so very few people actually understand what they do.

Dude, I dont have self esteem issues, Im very confident in-fact, and open minded, I understand I have much to learn and that I never know enough. Ilike learning, Im kind of a book worm actually. I just dont take kindly to being called ignorant, cus Im far from ignorant... I understand how you cleared that up now, however before that it only sounded like "Youre an ignorant person" as opposed to "Lemme educate you by answering your question, cus you may be ignorant on the subject..." Theres a BIG difference in how you say those things...
Anyway, In the very very very begining I just wanted to know what ya'll thought of the seats I got, damn... I dont go to the track I just want a nice daily driver thats sufficiant. Yeah saftey matters but Im not planning to take it around hard corners and up banked courses... I wanna hold my @ss in the seat, sit comfortably, and for it to look nice, and perform well for what it is... If I wanted and could afford (**** I need to read more Goeth in order to afford things, according to some people...)
a Silvia S-16 dont you think Id get one. An ES Lancer aint at any exceptional Tuner level, its entry level like a Civic; so Im not gonna sweat making it the fastest **** on the street...
*wipes sweat off brow...
F*ck Im done fightin' with everyone, remind me never to request a paradigm shift nor get an opinon on a simple aesthetic modification...

Thanx I'll look out for that, and I agree it has become showy and Im even guilty of it myself... I coulda gotten Sparco Harnesses (which are SPARCO so dont everybody jump on my ***!!!) but instead I paid 300 bucks to get Takata, just cus its Takata... (but I like the green tho honestly, and their wider than the Sparco belts, which I also like)
