sorry bro...i really meant no harm by it. it was actually in your favor as i don't agree w/ all of the attacks on you just because people may not like what you did to your interior.

appology acccepted?

Thank You.

All I understood was a quote about Chuck Norris tea baggin' somebody, then a statement with my name replacing chuck norris' atop of a blown up picture...

Forgive me If I didnt find the humor in that.

Anyway, water under the bridge...

I don't think anyone who can afford genuine LV stuff would ever drive a lancer. It looks pretty wannabeish to me. The installation looks OK though.

Allow me to educate everyone real quick, (seriously, Im not talkin trash)
Louis Vuitton, isnt some remarkable fabric thats worth billions... Its cloth. Period.
I grew up around the fashion industry with my father. Ive been to the factories in foreign contries (where it costs less to manufacture) where thes products are made. Louis V, Gucci, even "cheap" suits that you buy at Boscovs Mens section.
In general their all made a the SAME factories, and cost peanuts.
You pay for the Designers Name. Not Quality.
Fact: Wilsons leather, is better quality material then Louis Vuitton.
Quality is based on the ammount of materials used, what types, how their woven and stitched, etc... Not the logo or design thats on it.
So YES I drive a Lancer. NO Im not rich. YES I can get REAL Louis Vuitton and so can you!!!
Its 65 bucks a yard. Where other fabrics are less, your still buying the name BUT its real fabric, and when you see it and touch it, in its raw material form... Its not anything special.
I chose it cus I wanted a design cus I hated the stock interior (Gawd Im sick of explaining this). Therefore its stupid to say "well, if you drive a Lancer its not real Louis cus anyone whit a real Louis drives a Lamborghini" DUH! Princess Diana drove a Maxima!!! when she was on her own... and a Beemer. Still nothing to special.
Not every wealthy person is shallow and materialistic, and not every brand name is a quality thing... just ask Ferrari owners when thier cars are in the shop every other week.

Well thread number one on this topic just got locked . . .wonder how many pages this one has left. Come on guys focus on the project not the pattern. I think it would be pretty cool to be able to match new seats or a new paint job or anything else in your interior all on your own.

i agree. i said in the other post that i don't like the fabric, but he did a nice job on it, and a very good write up for the rest of us to use. i too think it would be good to be able to customize our interior more.

It would be a nice write up if I could see the pictures, but I really don't like LV and that doesn't matter. As long as you do. But it is a nice write up in case I or anyone else wanted to do something similar with different fabric.
