Even though this is an old post, I don't think it's a bad idea. Plus it's a super cheap mod. I wouldn't have choosen the poster's LV fabric but still it's not a bad idea to breathe new life into a boring or beat up interior.

Wow, I totally remember this thread! It came in handy, I ended up redoing some old pannels on my civic. ...Without the LV fabric.

HAHA!!! I HAVE CREATED ONE OF THE BEST THREADS EVER!!!!!

I changed the LV to Black Suede, which turned out way awesome.
The pic's around here somewhere..

Glad ya'll are still using it.

I don't even have the Lancer anymore, but I gotta admit I miss it.
I parted it out down to the shell (literally) and bought a '92 Lexus SC300 two years ago;
but I don't have that anymore either haha.

Lookin' to get a '98-'00 SC300 soon.

Turned out real good man. I put vinyl on my first car and I didn't turn out as well as yours. I used spray adhesive. Now I know exactly what to use for the evo.
