I'm definitely willing to consider different ideas, where would I go about getting the fabric at?

I totally understand wanting to be different then everyone, thats part of modifying a car in the first place, all i'm saying is a "tasteful" mod is something that still goes with car.

for example.
big *** aluminum wings on hondas.
why do we make fun of them? cause they look horrendous cause they dont go with the car.

a nice interior (suede? leather?) can look good, but designer fabrics don't make sense in cars, and even less in a non-luxury car.

I can already start to tell that there aren't going to be many people on this forum that will like how my car looks after I'm done, and that's fine, but I know that there are some that can appreciate trying to do something unique. For my car, it's trying to turn it into a luxury car. Is it trying to make it something it's not? Maybe. Instead of going out and buying a BMW with a loan, I want to take a car that I don't owe any money on, and make it look as respectable as any actual luxury car in my area. I had a BMW, and after having it vandalized multiple times, you start to realize how expensive they are to repair. So while I respect your opinion about the idea of fabric, I still haven't really found anything I like better. Maybe if someone can show me where to get something else that might look better, I would consider it more (like the idea of bride fabric a couple posts ago).

Sorry but a lancer will never be a BMW. It will never drive like a luxury car and it will never have the resale value of a luxury car.

Are you going to give me any useful suggestions on how to make my interior look better, or continue to inform me of things that are blatantly obvious yet unrelated to what I'm trying to do? I'm looking for ideas to make my car look better, I'm not here to refute facts regarding how the car drives or what the resale value is. If I wanted to discuss that, I probably wouldn't be on a show thread right now.

I did give you some advice, I said to get Bride front seats and Bride fabric to recover the back seats and do the door inserts. From there you could get the interior professionally painted black or get the parts from a wrecked evo/lancer.

Is there a specific place I can go for the fabric, or should I just do a google search for it?

Hum, yeah the desgigner fabric is a little to gaudy for me but thats a clean install and does look better than stock. This looks fairly simple, I may have to try it.

Some of the vendors on here sell the fabric, just do a search for it.

You could always go to a fabric store. Hancock fabrics or maybe even walmart if you want solid colors.
