I moved the clock from the top of the dash to the stupid cubby hole. It's red so I can't read it at all in the daytime. Plus down the road I can put a wideband 02 in the old clock spot. I just took some sheet aluminum, 50 grit sandpaper, and wiped it horizontally to look like brushed aluminum then cut a hole for the clock in it. The old clock hole is covered with black vinyl. The hardest part was splitting the hazard and clock wires then working it down behind the hu and hvac. Figured I could come up with a better mounting solution for it eventually. The real test comes tomorrow to see if I can see it in the daytime.
But this also could work for an a/f and egt gauge setup. I'll end up doing some more brushed aluminum for that and try to squeeze a small wb 02 down there, too. I'm just so damn tired of that stupid cubby.

I've also thought about putting one of those tube LED shift lights behind a tinted piece of glass in the old clock spot so I can be a bum and not look at the tach when I'm driving. Plus I can never hear my engine over my music. http://www.raptorperformance.com/

There's really a lot of space behind that little clock opening once you take it out. The possibilities are pretty vast for it.
